Whisper Series Electric Power Pack

KLX is constantly striving to be a leader in the Energy Services sector. Our fully electric coiled tubing spread, part of our Whisper Series line of equipment, was a first for the industry. KLX was the first to offer a spread with electric power driving the CT unit, the frac pump, and chemical mixing plant. Our Whisper Fleet can run on grid power or on-sight power generation.

Pressure Control

KLX’s Pressure Control solutions are designed to keep wells safe and on schedule, providing operators with the expertise, tools and equipment needed for high-performance pressure control.

Pressure Control Equipment: Provision of Blowout Preventers (BOPs), frac stacks and proprietary technologies like KLX’s Frac Relief Valve System, which offers enhanced reliability and redundancy.
Expert Technicians: A team with an average of 15 years of experience, skilled in monitoring and maintaining optimal pressure levels and operating pressure control equipment.
Machine Shops and Pressure Control Centers: Our facilities are equipped to recut API thread and refurbish and certify both KLX and third-party pressure control equipment.
Testing and Diagnostics: We offer services to maintain optimal pressure ratings downhole, a critical component of well safety and efficiency.

Case Study – 4 Mile Lateral

A prominent customer in DJ Basin planned two pads with 4-mile laterals for drillout operations. KLX was chosen and successfully completed all wells given. Key components were a custom CT string design, high-performance chemical mix and loading, and KLX Thru-Tubing with Oracle SRT. Pad one: 6 Wells were set to be completed with Coiled Tubing. Pad two: 7 Wells, was set to be completed with a workover rig and jointed tubing. Due to increased operational speed and efficiency, well seven on pad two was given to CT. CT moved pads and completed the well before the workover rig was able to complete its sixth well.
