KLX Hydraulic Disconnect Tool – The KLX Hydraulic Disconnect tool offers a reliable, surface-controlled solution for safely releasing coiled tubing from a bottom hole assembly (BHA) in demanding applications. Built to endure extreme torsional and tensile loads encountered during milling, jarring, underreaming, and other tough operations, the tool features a simple, robust design. A ball is pumped to engage the disconnect, and a pressure increase (1,800psi to 2,200psi) activates the tool, shearing brass screws and allowing the collet to ratchet free, aligning the circulation ports for flow bypass. After retrieval, the bottom sub remains in the hole with an internal GS fishing neck for future operations. Special features include a tension, impact, and torque-tolerant design, industry-standard internal GS fishing profile, and adjustable shear values for precise performance.
