"Mini" Hydraulic Rig Assist Snubbing Unit
KLX’s lightweight, compact “mini” hydraulic rig assist units are mounted on gooseneck trailers for easy transport and maneuverability on location. Each unit is equipped with an independent diesel powerpack, pipe handling winch, and integral work platform. The compact, lightweight design is 2-3 feet shorter than traditional rig-assist units and 6,000-8,000 lbs. lighter. KLX also has the option of an electric-powered “mini” unit as part of our Whisper Series.
- Capacity: Safely handles 1-inch through 3½-inch tubulars.
- Rigs up in less than two hours.
- Stroke Capability: 5 feet.
- Built-in passive rotating bearing for SAFE tubing rotation in a snub position
- Jack head designed to handle 300,000 lbs. with a 4:1 safety factor.
- Load Capability: 42,500 lbs. snub load.
- Maximum surface pressures of 3,000 psi utilizing the 7.06” 5K Shaffer-style annular and single type-U BOP
Hydraulic Rig Assist Snubbing Unit
KLX’s traditional Space Saver snubbing units are trailer-mounted or conveniently mounted on a bobtail truck for smaller locations. The 8’-10’ stroke allows for quick trip times. These units are equipped with a large work basket with an operator console and hydraulic power tongs. Each unit is equipped with two type-U BOPs for ram-to-ram stripping (in 5K or 15K configurations), as well as a 5K Shaffer-style annular for lower-pressure stripping operations.
- Capacity: Safely handles 1-inch through 3½-inch tubulars.
- Stroke Capability: 8 feet & 10 feet

- Maximum surface pressures of 4,500 psi using a 5M H2S-rated BOP stack with the option of 15M BOPs and guiding systems for high-pressure wells
Hybrid Single-Lift Hydraulic Snubbing Unit
KLX’s hybrid units are a unique mix of traditional stand-alone and rig-assist snubbing units. Built on the same platform as our traditional rig assist units, these units are engineered to work independently of a work-over rig. The hybrid unit is a single lift unit designed for quick rig-ups with minimal time required swinging from well to well.
- Similar platform and design to KLX’s traditional spacer-saver units

Whisper Series Electric Power Pack
KLX has created a fully electric coiled tubing spread as part of our Whisper Series line of equipment. In this spread, electric power drives the CT unit, the frac pump, and chemical mixing plant. Our Whisper Fleet runs on grid power or on-sight power generation. Today, we have multiple electric-powered wireline units operating in the field with more units on the way.
