KLX Energy Services’ latest coiled tubing venture hit a depth of 28,915 feet. KLX continues to lead the industry with record setting performance, completing what is believed to be both the deepest total wellbore and the longest lateral depth in in the North American onshore market with coiled tubing. During post-frac plug milling operations on multi-well pad with extended reach laterals, KLX’s Coiled Tubing division, in combination with KLX Thru-Tubing, repeatedly reached total depths of +28,600 feet. On the deepest well, KLX Coiled Tubing achieved an unprecedented maximum total depth (TD) of 28,915’, resulting in a groundbreaking milestone lateral length of 20,530′, the equivalent of 3.9 miles.
