KLX recently tackled one of the most challenging emerging technologies, a split-string, coiled tubing well intervention, by rethinking how dual-string work is executed. After extensive research into the root causes of common issues, our teams redesigned the process through collaboration, product development and field-driven improvements. We put this new approach to the test on a four-well pad, with each well stretching roughly four miles laterally.
The results were remarkable. Our crews successfully ran dual strings faster, more safely, and with greater consistency than competing service providers. This project exemplifies how KLX’s discipline, collaboration, and commitment to innovation directly translate into real-world performance for our customers.
Overall, KLX delivered high-efficiency, lower-risk performance, further solidifying our position as a trusted, technically driven completions partner.
- Engineered upgrades that eliminated long-standing equipment failures.
- Accelerated operations without compromising safety.
- Consistent, reliable execution across all four wells.
